A new study by OneUp Web finds a site entering Google's top natural Search engine results pages (SERP) for the first time can expect an exponential increase in traffic and double the number of conversions.

In the first month a site appears on page one in Google its conversion rates rise 142 percent, according to the study. In the second month conversion rates nearly double (194 percent.) In terms of unique visitors, the average site appearing in Google's top natural SERP could expect a 337 percent increase in traffic in its first month and a 627 percent increase in the second month.

Getting onto page one for a prized keyword may seem like an impossible task to some businesses. Search engine optimization is viewed as an art. In contrast, pay per click is a sure thing and marketers understand advertising. But this strategy can rocket your website onto page one and have your graphs moving straight up.
