Kiawah Island Golf Resort begins 2008 with three special event weekends in January dedicated to music and dance, a murder mystery and a women's getaway retreat.
Guest accommodation choices on Kiawah include private villas or The Sanctuary, the resort's AAA Five Diamond-rated oceanfront hotel and spa.
- January 11-13, 2008 - Second Annual Seaside Serenade Weekend: The Charleston Ballet delivers a refined performance in The Sanctuary's ballroom, bringing the location to life. The weekend also features a meal at The Sanctuary's signature restaurant, the Ocean Room. Starting at $624 per person for two nights at The Sanctuary or $477 per person for two nights at the villas.
- January 18-20, 2008 - Murder on the 19th Hole-Murder Mystery Weekend: For the first time at Kiawah, guests experience a weekend full of murder and mystery. Several "murders" take place around the resort, and attendees must follow the twists and unravel the clues to find the murderer. Starting at $623 per person for two nights at The Sanctuary or $560 per person for two nights at the villas.
- January 25-27, 2008 - Fourth Annual Women's Escape Weekend: Designed by women for women, this weekend concentrates on rejuvenation and relaxation. Presented by charleston magazine, the event includes elegant dinners, and special programming on stress, nutrition, fashion, cooking and gardening. Starting at $874 per person for two nights at The Sanctuary or $645 per person for two nights at the villas.
