Brent Thomas and Lee Briggs, founders of the goal oriented social website eLIFELIST.com, will ride bicycles across the continental United States this summer with the goal of raising $20,000 for the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Members at eLIFELIST.com create and track their life goals in a "Life-List", meet and communicate with friends, share their lists with friends and family and link a variety of content from major Internet media sites such as YouTube, Vimeo, Viddler, Revver, Flickr and Picasa.
Thomas and Briggs share the life goal to "Bicycle across the US". This summer they will both check this goal off their Life-Lists while raising funds and awareness for cancer research and support. During their journey across the States they will complete many other goals on their lists including: See the Smashing Pumpkins live in concert, Climb a 14er in Colorado, Mountain Bike in Moab Utah, See the Grand Canyon, and many others. The trip will commence from the Atlantic coast in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina on June 30th and end at the Pacific shores of San Francisco, California on September 1st.
Thomas and Briggs will extensively document their journey with daily videos, photos, a blog and a weekly newsletter. Supporters will be able to donate to the Lance Armstrong Foundation and follow the eLIFELIST.com founders as they cycle at BikeTripBlog.com.
eLIFELIST.com is relocating its headquarters from New York City to San Francisco.
